....this list was inevitable. Undoubtedly my own philosophy pin-up will not be appearing in the list; but then I doubt he would want to, being far more interested in rhizomatics than arborescent structures. My money is on Plato being at the top since I would imagine that most of the people voting for these things believe that philosophy never quite made it past Christianity, with the anomolies of those great anglo-american thinkers who are so influential in our time. Actually, Nietzsche will probably be there somewhere but my predictions for top 3 are Plato, Wittgenstein and Russell.
